Baby Foxtail's First Day at the Beach

Welcome baby Foxtail to Seaside Oregon.
Joshua and I had just gotten back from Bend last weekend from visiting friends and my parents.   It was a much needed trip back home.  We had so much fun playing cards and eating out.  It was so nice to see sunny sky's and snow on the ground.  We were lucky enough to see one of our best couple friends Jess and Adam,  we really miss them and our so proud of them for buying there first home.   They are doing so great and it made me miss Bend so much more.  It was especially nice to stay up late with my Mom chatting about her stories of her pregnancy and my birth.  It was a great trip and we are excited to go back in March.

So onto the Oregon Coast day trip to Seaside.  Because we were able to get away last weekend I thought a day trip would be so much fun to the Oregon Coast.  Having no clue where we would be going along the Coast I decided to take the main road and let fate decide if we were going to Tillamook, Canon Beach or Seaside.  So when it came to the intersection Seaside it was.   Penelope has never been to the Coast,  this January 15th was our one year anniversary getting her.  We were really excited to see how she would react to the open air, sand and the water.  Keyki Loves the beach she literally can't stop running.  So we parked and let them free on the Oregon Sandy Beach's.  At first she didn't know what to do and then she saw Keyki and she just ran and ran.  We love our Girls so much.  So for about 2 hours we played on the beach and then it was time to eat some seafood.  Yumm!  We had a great lunch at Doogers,  Walked the Downtown area and finally went to the fish market, got a lot of smoked fish, crab and decided to head home.  What a great day and hopefully there will be many more since we are only  an hour away.

We also had our second check up with the Midwives.  We have a total of three.  Corey our main one, Whitney the Second and Chelsea there intern.  We are super excited for our birth team and we know we are in wonderful caring hands.  We heard baby Foxtails heart beat, which is getting stronger and all my blood work comes back perfect.  Even though I am huge I have only gained 3 pounds.  ( why do I look like I have gained 20?)  oh well.  I am starting to waddle,  which is really funny.  We will find out the Gender in 4 weeks.  Super exciting for Joshua and I.  But we can't say we haven't tried to find out.  My mom told me to do the draino test (  so basically did it for 3 days in a row and 2 days it was a girl and one it was a boy)  who knows what that means.
( NOT TWINS THOUGH)  We will keep you updated and thanks for all the lovely e-mails and support.

Here are some new photos of my ever growing Belly.  If this is 16 weeks what will I look like at 36 weeks?
